Welcome to the home of Diablo Action Pistol (DAP) on the web. For those of you unfamiliar with DAP, we are an action pistol shooting group. We hold monthly USPSA style matches that are open to members of the 4 United Sportsmens Inc. clubs who have passed the prerequisite orientation class.  Paul writes "The scores for the August match have been posted in their usual location. At the request of several shooters, we have begun to supply all the break out score sheets in single zip file. Simply click on the "Download" link located on the match scores page."

The members are reminded that there will be a Bar-B-Que following the match on September 14th. If you will be attending please email either the chairman (J-Endress@Comcast.Net) or Rose Henry (rosemary.jhannum@farmersagency.com ) and let us know how many there will be in your party.

BAY BRIDGE CHARITY CLASSIC

 DAP Shooters,
We’ve agreed to help promote the Bay Bridge Charity Classic. This is a VERY worthwhile annual pistol match with proceeds going to the US Marine Corp Reserves Toys for Tots charity. Last year just over $12,000 was raised. The match will be held at the Richmond Rod & Gun Club Action Pistol range on October 25th and 26th.

Jim has tickets which will be available at the DAP range or you can send an email to J-Endress@Comcast.net to reserve them.
To date the many raffle prizes will include:
6 Springfield firearms:
2 - 9mm XDs
2 - 40cal XDs
2 - 45 cal. 1911s
Each ticket is $5. Winners need not be present to win. Winning tickets will be drawn at the awards ceremony for the BBCC 2008 on October 26th.
All DAP shooters are encouraged to support this charity by buying raffle tickets and by shooting in the match. You need not be a member of the Richmond club or USPSA to participate.
